Homes Sales Report Caledon October 2017

Caledon, a growing city which is part Regional Municipality of Peel in the Greater Toronto Area witnessed a total sale of 77 Homes in October 2017.  Out of 77 homes, 61 sold were detached homes,  11 semi-detached homes while 5 were attached townhouses. Compared to Caledon, Brampton sold 650 homes while Mississauga sold 689 homes in October 2017.

There were 282 active listings and 77 were sold showing a sale percentage of  27% listings being sold while others were still in the market.

The average home selling price in Caledon was 888,038 while the Median price was $760,000

Caledon had 161 new homes coming up in October 2017 for sale.. The average % of selling price / listing price was 96% which shows the market is getting stronger and the home sellers are close to getting what they listed for.

“The housing market in the GTA has been impacted by a number of policy changes at the provincial and federal levels. Similar to the track followed in the Greater Vancouver Area, it appears that the psychological impact of the Fair Housing Plan, including the tax on foreign buyers, is starting to unwind,” said Jason Mercer, TREB’s Director of Market Analysis.
