Over 70 Vehicles involved in pileup in Barrie

Reports are coming in from Barrie where a major pileup is reported involving over 70 vehicles. This happened at Hwy400 SB south of Mapleview Drive in Barrie.

As per the latest updates from Sgt Kerry Schmidt of the OPP, All lanes reopened Hwy400 NB and SB after earlier collision south of Mapleview Dr.

Toronto and it’s supporting areas were under strong wing warning since Sunday afternoon which wreck hovac on traffic and daily commute. A number of School boards including Peel District School board had school bus cancellations for Monday Feb. 25th.

Hydro One has reported more than 60,000 customers without power and they are working diligently to restore power.
